Why Oil et Moi?

I picked Oil et Moi because some of my recipes include ingestible essential oils in them. Moi means me in French and I just wanted to have that French touch in my brand (because I am French).

Why are shaped/decorated macarons more expensive?

Shaped or decorated macarons take significantly more time to make than regular macarons (although macarons take a lot of time to make too, about 3 hours per batch). So now you know why 😉

Where do I pick up my order?

Upon order confirmation and payment, you will be sent the address to pick up your order. Pickup address is located in the Lincoln Crossing neighborhood in Lincoln, CA

How should I store my macarons?

Macarons should be stored in an airtight container (if possible) in the refrigerator if they are not consumed upon receiving. Macarons last 1-2 weeks in the fridge and 1 month in the freezer.

What payment methods do you accept?

I accept all major credit cards, cash, zelle, venmo, and cashapp.

How far in advance should I place my custom order?

Orders of more than 30 macarons should be placed at least 10 days prior to the pickup date and time. Orders that are not placed with 10 days advanced notice are considered “rush” orders. If these orders are accepted, there will be a rush fee added to the total cost of the order. Rush fees start at $30.

What are your prices? And why do they vary?

You can find all of my prices under the “prices” tab. Prices do vary because some custom orders are more complicated than others. If you do need a custom order do not hesitate to reach out!

Do you deliver or ship?

Delivery in the Sacramento area is available. Delivery fees start at $30 and are $0.60/mile after that. Shipping is not available at this time.

Are macarons gluten free?

Macaron shells are naturally gluten free, as they are made with sugar, almond flour, and egg whites. However, the filling may contain gluten.

Please also note that all products are produced in a home kitchen that is subject to state licensure and inspection. If any allergens are in the product, it will be labelled as such.
